i will never buy anything at circuit city ever again[1] after how annoying that ad has been.

There is no Circuit City.

There is an online retailer who purchased the rights to their logo, name, and website; but there is no real link between the old Circuit City and the current one.

Nevertheless, always two, there are. No more, no less. A master, and an apprentice.

What he said. All the Circuit Citys in this part of the country have been shuttered since last winter or so. Most of the buildings haven't sold, but they haven't reopened either.
