Mr Bush, meanwhile, joked with the Queen after making a mistake in his speech.

He said: "You helped our nation celebrate its bicentennial in 17... 1976" , and then joked the Queen had given him "a look that only a mother could give a child".

Now, with context, but you'd assume that his handlers would have him be careful about remarks that could be interpreted so hilariously.

This morning on MSNBC, I had the sublime displeasure of watching that corpulent troglodyte William Bennett proudly exclaim that he profoundly disagrees with his wife on the question of whether Britain should abolish the monarchy. Of course, Britain needs to keep the monarchy!
