frosty mug sensation
Nov. 27th, 2006 08:36 ami'm going to go watch the Green Bay Packers2 play this evening, which means I will be on Monday Night Football in some sort of theoretical sense (
ikkyu2 and
ronebofh may wish to take note.) This is the first time I've watched a football game live1, and while I'm not sure this is what the great sages and mystics meant when they say "you should open yourself to new experiences," I'm hoping it will be lots of fun. Especially since it's going to be about 29F (-2C for you people from Other Continents and Lurking Northern Menaces) during the game with a 5-10 degree chill.
For the moment, I have an important question: what is the right cat picture for "help, i have the sneezes?"
1 unless you count high school football as football, which seems unlikely. I may have been at a UChicago football game once, but that was more a case of getting lost. I have greatly been enjoying watching games with friends occasionally, but that may reflect the excellent company with which I have been doing so. Oh well, time to put that to the test.
2 In general, I support the complete elimination of theRaging Corporate Welfare Stadium Queens Seahawks from everything, and think GBP are good largely because they're a community-owned team. This goes double for the Oklahoma City Sonics, which lost a referendum on getting a free new/improved stadium after threatening people that it would leave if it didn't get more free stuff now dammit.
