personal training, tonight
Nov. 9th, 2007 03:44 pmI just had the first real meeting with the new personal trainer, which adds 3 days a week of legs, arms, and core workout to my exercise routine. currently, i'm at:
1 day tai chi class
6 days tai chi practice
4 days elliptical
3 days core / legs.
5 days meditation
every week. I should be at 7 days meditation, but I'm usually too hung over tuesday and frantic friday to do much relaxing.
Next week, I'll be adding the shoulders and core. this will mean that i'll have either 45 minutes or two hours of exercise every day but thursday (which is tai chi class.) The exercise is less than it sounds like because I don't want television -- I just watch shows on my DVD player on the elliptical trainer. A lot of my previous meeting with the personal trainer was geared towards determining motivation and etc..., and mine is mostly that I'm glad to be alive.
on that note, though, does anyone want to hang or have dinner mellowly tonight? i had exciting plans for the evening which is a check that the muscles in my abdomen cannot cash.
