good / bad

good: i went shopping today, because i've gone down a size in clothes and most of my shirts were monstrously big on me. My jacket in particular needs to be taken in, I felt like Talking Heads-era David Byrne during devilpuppy's wedding. So, I got a couple of new shirts, and will probably take some older stuff out of storage this weekend.

bad: wow, i'm tired today. so so so much to do.

I feel your pain. I had to get my tuxedo altered twice over the past year. Did you know you could even get belts taken in? I got tired of buying new belts, so I had a leather shop down the street redo my three favorites. Oh, and I recently dug through my closet and found this shirt I'd bought from Kweejibo sometime in the '90s. I'd never gotten the sleeves altered to the right length, and since I've lost a good 10 inches around my waist, it was ridiculously baggy around the middle. It was too much to dart, so my tailor's basically resewing both sides.
