So, today is apparently the annual day at the UW where 1000s of children and young teenagers fieldtrip to see the university campus. It apparently has the purpose of getting them used to the idea of going to college.

The local ROTC folks gave out 3 foot long sausage-shaped (phallic) balloons, and the kids have been running around hitting eachother with them.

Apropos of nothing, one of the first years in my program who I just met looks just like a taller version of laragoth. It was amusing.

Sounds like they're perfectly prepared. The greek system should be out there recruiting.
