notes from the field: not a good day

rwxi'm going to home depot to see if i can figure out what the bad part in the water heater is. water heater broke last night, in other news.
i seem to have hurt my right arm fairly badly through dropping about 300 lbs on it when it was already stressed from weightlifting. I am monitoring this for progress.
The 'technical wandering monster' gig seems to be ending on wednesday, which is a problem, but largely in the 'now i have no project to witter away at and must therefore concentrate on long-term goals' sense.
there are also good things about today, but they're more circumspect.
