quiet day

so, my house is (surprisingly) undamaged aside from flooding in the garage. everything i have in there is stacked in rubbermaid bins, so that's pretty mellow. today was going to be a hairy day with two major activities, but the office where one was happening is closed and a server that i need for the other is offline.

so, quiet day. drjohn is in town working on stuff, we may devolve to playing pinball.

It looks like I'm not going to work, apparently the campus has power but Internet and phones are offline, which pretty much makes it impossible to get anything done. (So much for libraries being all about books, right? It's the end of finals week, the only students who'll be around are those making a last desparate effort anyway.)

Anywho, I'm going out in a bit to run some much-needed errands. Cellphone is not working, but house phone is. Where and when is pinball likely?

Going to eat breakfast and clean the roof shingles out of the backyard.
