can anyone give me contact information for [livejournal.com profile] sonder? there was some information that I was going to toss him and his livejournal is friends-comments only. (and he doesn't wub me.)

i've been thinking a lot about NYEs, and it's weird because it's an artificialish boundary. For me, a lot of the changeover of life is in september, as the summer fades to cold. A lot of my projects and timing is geared towards preparing for BM among other things so it ends up that a lot of the big transitions happen then. Also, I think the fact that I was until recently back in school was a big part of that.

also, anyone have a good crockpot recipe for 'mexican chicken stew with green chiles?' i'm trying to recreate/regain recipes i lost in the bostonian mold clusterfuck of '05, and that's one of the final missing ones.

On my 'clean the crap out of my stuff 2007' mission which i'm doing this week, i'm about to send the first round of stuff out to craigslist, ebay, and freecycle. I'll also post the list here.

I'm pretty sure [profile] xythen can hook you up with the crockpot recipe, she's made similar dishes before.

Chicken Stew Mexican Style Recipe

2 lbs skinless boneless chicken breasts cut into 1 1/2" peices
4 med russet potatoes, peeled and cut very small

1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies
1 (1 1/4 oz) pkg taco seasoning mix

Mix all ingredients together in crockpot, cook 7-9 hours on low. Serve with warm flour tortillas.

I also served corn with this. It was good mixed in it too.
