TX / gas / tonight + the weekend / bees

i admit to being greatly relieved to find that basically all my friends in texas are either now in austin (and mailing me phonecam pictures from coffeebars) or are basically battened down for the duration. (Mojo apparently being the outlier.)

I have basically no plans for the weekend after spending every night this week out. I may be coming down sick with the stuff that hit everyone at BM, but am considering watching a movie or getting food/drink on the hill (so let me know if you're interested, recommendations also welcome.) I'm operating at a fairly mellow speed at the moment, but particularly want to see Burn After Reading.

Gas prices may be affected for the next month by the storm hitting texas, the current industry guess is for the US' production to be back to normal by the end of the year, and for their to be a significant drop in refining capacity for the remainder of the year which may raise the price of gas significantly.

Yea, verily. The plan in is to put my resume out in mid to late October, move up once I find something good, and then stride the PNW like a Colosus, occasionally crushing fools beneath my hobnailed boots of oppression. I'm definitely looking forward to being in your neck of the woods.

My sister and brother inlaw live in Austen, I will be getting a phone call tomorrow about what the weather is going to be doing there. Because it will be "drama" without the capital D. -Or I should say, great amusement is apparently to be had.
