More with the worshipping of graven idols

For those of you who missed a group of evangelical christian's massive failure in regards to Exodus Chapter 32 from the Bible, here's a Youtube video of Christians worshipping a 'golden' 'calf' in the name of saving the economy.

For those of you familiar with neither the Bible nor Cecil B DeMille's masterpiece, this sort of thing typically ends with a lot of divine wrath and smiting. The prophetic dreams that led up to this were covered on the christian broadcasting network (700 club, et al.), and I'm amazed no one said "MOSES FAIL" at any point.

My most charitable guess on this is that they do consider themselves to be praying to the idol.

My JW Grandmother, however, would see it as exactly that, and I bet she's using this as proof of the End Days happening this week.
