Soup Exchange?

Should I bring back the soup exchange?

That's a thing where everyone brings 3 quarts of soup to some central destination, and then trades it for other people's soup. matilda is the only person currently on my LJ that participated in the previous ones, but a friend was talking about making a big thing of soup didn't work so well when it was just one person eating it, and that brought back the idea of the soup exchange.

matilda ended up giving the soup to a really cool quasi-homeless friend of mine hanging out at the Sit&Spin and not actually participating in the exchange, which I feel find funny to this day. Hopefully, this time it will be more together.

Would anyone out there be interested in participating?

Sure -- I work in a commercial kitchen, I know all about utilization.

But I was talking about the soup swap, for which most of us will probably be doing specific shopping.
