10 years

as of sometime between now and tuesday, i will have been in Seattle for 10 years¹. I don't remember exactly what day it was I arrived, I started working at a company in town 2/16/96. A couple of nights before, I'd moved out of my apartment in NY helped out by SamaJane, who it turns out has gotten into slam poetry since.)

anything think of something interesting going on sunday or monday for me to gather the troops around?

¹ The only reason I can remember is that I spent my first or second night in town wandering the streets of Seattle to give my hosts time alone for valentine's day.

Congrats, you've been here four months longer than I.

I arrived the night I graduated high school, some Friday or Saturday night in mid-June 1996.
