so, i've stopped drinking soy lattes from the latte cart at school, and i've discovered two things.
1. there are a lot of calories in a grande soy latte when you get them from that cart. After a couple of days of not having one for breakfast, I started noticing being a lot hungrier at mealtimes. I checked, and they're using extra crap laden sugar soy milk of some repulsive nature.
2. having two lattes a day was sucking a lot of monkey out of my pockets.

Date: 2006-04-28 09:11 pm (UTC)These days we go through about a pound a week of Starbucks-roasted Costco house blend ($5 - fairly nondescript-tasting central american beans, probably fair trade).
Starbucks opened up this month on my route to work, though. I'm trying not to stop more than once a week.
