Vaguely related, found on wikipedia: "The Danish band Kliché made the song "Bravo Charlie" almost entirely consisting of words from the NATO phonetic alphabet. It was included on the album Okay Okay Boys (1982) and later released as a single in 1983 to become a local hit."
