hey, so i guess first thursday was last week. hmmmm.

also, i guess i'm cheering for the hurricanes tonight. i haven't ever really been able to get behind edmonton as a concept.

also, the fact that the Stanley Cup finals starts tonight just boggles me. anyone watching this?

i still think that Gretzky's dominance of the league was greatly aided by Mike Bossy's back problems prematurely ending his 50/50 runs. But, actually, I'm against the whole concept of edmonton and not limiting that to the oilers.

I'm working on stuff tonight, so I'll probably be relatively stationary, but I'll be up for games later in the week.

OK - now I understand. But as a pseudo-Canadian, the general distaste for Edmonton went away as soon as they were the sole northern representative for the Mug. Now they're "Canada's Team"...
