i feel jilted by the educational machine / today / tonight

i feel jilted by the educational machine -- i was looking at a friend's mba program, and three of the classes in her program are roughly equivalent to the one introductory course in the applied math and stat program i did a long time go (10 years at this point.)

today can best be summed up as 'rwx makes bad decisions when on industrial grade painkillers.'

tonight, i think i'm going to stagger on down to watch 'The Big Lebowski' at the midnight movie at the egyptian. you're welcome to join me.
