dear lazyweb: ipod question, also podcasts
Feb. 1st, 2007 11:04 amis there a way to tell an ipod to 'take all unheard podcasts and then fill up from playlist XXX'?
my ipod seems to fill up randomly or according to some plan i don't know, and i have about 10 gig of music that isn't for general listening purposes.
also, anyone have any recommendations for podcasts?

I'm betting its the first. When you go into the iPod folder, do you have the "Choose Songs Randomly" or "Replace all songs when Autofiling" checked? I made an iPod Updater folder, so I can select songs when the iPod isn't hooked up that is set to autofill when it is connected. Something like that may help.
Your third - sure. NPR has a great selection of talk radio type offerings.

Date: 2007-02-02 03:59 am (UTC)Q2: I regularly listen to science & policy podcasts: Nature, Science Friday, ditto other NPR offerings, Point of Inquiry, Ecotalk (the production quality is low on that last one, but the interviewees are worth dealing with the interviewer's over-the-top liberal whining).
And also, for music: The Angus Sessions (scottish/irish folk), KEXP Music that Matters.
(I happen to have a list handy)
