rwxbluetooth stopped working on my ibook this morning. i've checked and it does, in fact, have bluetooth installled. I haven't been able to find any of the bluetooth devices that I used to use on it.
the symptoms are that it doesn't attach to other devices (it can't find them) and any interaction with the bluetooth control panel spins for ages without doing anything.
okay, so it works after I start the computer from another hard disk so it's just a local operating system problem. whee. Also, I'd like to remark that since I'm almost always typing on a laptop keyboard these days, my keyboarding has gone to shit.
update 2: since I have last used the bluetooth mouse that I usually use with my computers on the mac, the MacOS has gained support for all the functions of the mouse, which I have to say is quite pleasant. Perhaps this evening, I will retire to my office and do some programming and scroll up and down pages with my clickwheel or something. Up next, getting the natural keyboard working.
