There are lots of other geocache-like games in the world, of which Letterboxing is probably the most famous/interesting/all around good fun, but this was the first specific geocache.

Date: 2006-05-03 08:12 pm (UTC)Maybe that's just my ignorance - are there caches guarded by covered pits and Flash Gord[on/-ian] Wood Beasts? Maybe with riddles telling you only to approach it from the East, lest you are thusly impaled on the poking thingies?
I really want to add an element of fear and lay some dangerous caches, but somehow I don't think Microsoft employees would appreciate cleaning the blood out of their SUVs.
